The mommy-to-be mentioned to me in passing how awesome a Butterfly diaper cake would look at her shower. She jokingly said it would be too difficult to make and never mentioned it again. I took that as a challenge, and I think it's save to say that I was successful. Before starting any project I do a lot of research for inspiration, I'm 100% positive that this design is mine. This diaper cake was massive 250 size 1 diapers, 4 receiving blankets, 3 set of mittens, 4 bottles (2 lg, 2 small), 4 link hoops, baby rattle, pacifiers, and travel size baby items. I've made a hand full of diaper cakes but this the by far my favorite because it's so unique.
